COVID-19 project

Introduction

Since the emergence of the novel coronavirus—SARS-CoV-2—in Wuhan at the end of 2019, it has spread to more than 200 countries worldwide. The disease caused by the virus is called COVID-19. The current COVID-19 outbreak was declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 30 January 2020 and a pandemic on 11 March 2020 by WHO. Epigroup has always been devoted to research on emerging infectious diseases. To tackle the current situation, our group has performed epidemiological and modelling analysis for regions including Scotland, the UK and WHO Africa Region.
